What a good haircut in Kharghar actually costs

Start with the figures themselves. A fringe trim or a Basic Haircut is ₹350. A cut for a girl up to twelve years old is ₹400, and there is a separate undergraduate rate, ₹550, for students.

Above that sits the Graduate Haircut at ₹650, then the Creative Haircut at ₹900, then a Haircut by Expert at ₹1,250. Four different names, and four genuinely different amounts of time and attention.

None of it is bundled with a wash or a blow dry. Those are priced on their own, further down this page. That is the part most people forget to ask about until the bill arrives.

A Basic Haircut is exactly that. A straightforward trim or shape, done well, without a longer consultation attached to it. It suits a maintenance cut on a style you already know.

A Graduate Haircut steps up the time and the precision. It suits a first cut in a while, or a shape that wants more thought than a trim.

A Creative Haircut goes further again: layers cut to your face rather than to a length. That is what makes a blow dry hold its own movement afterwards.

A Haircut by Expert is the same craft, with the most time behind it. It is kept for the harder reads: hair that has been through several different cuts, or a shape nobody else has managed to get right.

A full restyle, from a long length to a short one, belongs here too. It costs more because it takes longer, not because the shorter cuts are done carelessly.

The haircut is only one line on the bill. Washing and styling are priced by length, in three tiers: Short, Medium and Long.

A Classic Wash runs ₹350 short, ₹400 medium and ₹550 long. A Luxury Wash uses a different product line and takes longer at the shampoo station. It runs ₹450, ₹500 and ₹650 across the same three tiers.

Styling works the same way. A Blow Dry is ₹400, ₹525 or ₹600 depending on length.

Ironing or tongs run from ₹700 up to ₹1,100 on the longest hair. Waist-length hair genuinely takes longer under a dryer than a bob does.

Length is measured at the consultation, not guessed at the till. A rough estimate in either direction is unfair to somebody. The consultation itself carries no charge, and it is not conditional on booking anything afterwards.

Hair is read dry and standing before a figure is agreed. A written quotation comes before anything is cut.

A printed price list can only tell you the range. The consultation tells you where your own hair actually sits in it.

A lower number on someone else’s board is not proof of anything on its own. It can just as easily mean a shorter appointment, or a less experienced pair of hands. It can also mean a wash and blow dry charged as extras you were not told about at the door.

If all you want today is a maintenance trim on a shape you already like, the Basic Haircut is the honest booking. There is no reason to pay more for it.

If you are changing the shape entirely, or the last few cuts have left you unhappy, that is a longer job. The price should say so.

Ask what the number in front of you actually includes before you compare it with anywhere else. A price with nothing attached to it is not a fair comparison. It won’t always be the lowest figure you see this week, and that is fine by us.
