How to choose a salon in Kharghar

A ranking treats every salon as if it's competing for the same job. It isn't. Fit is what decides whether an appointment goes well: whether the room reads your hair the way you actually want it read, not how skilled the technician is in the abstract.

The clearest sign of a bad match isn't a technical slip. It's a client and a technician who never agreed, out loud, on what "finished" was supposed to look like. That gap is where regret usually starts, long before any chemical or blade gets involved.

Colour and smoothing treatments are chemistry, not magic, and a room that can't tell you what's going into the bottle is guessing along with you. Ask what's being mixed, and whether a patch test is offered before anything touches your scalp.

Smoothing treatments are worth one specific question: does the product release formaldehyde when it's heated? The US FDA has warned about exactly this in some keratin-style treatments, which is worth asking about before your hair goes under a flat iron, not after.

Hygiene in a salon isn't decorative. Ask whether tools are sterilised between every client, whether files and buffers are single-use or properly cleaned, and whether the linen on the chair is changed as often as it should be.

None of that is a hard question to answer honestly. A room with nothing to hide will walk you through it without hesitating, and a room that changes the subject has told you something too.

A free consultation means little if it's ten rushed minutes before someone reaches for scissors. Ask what it actually includes: is your hair read dry, before a wash flattens the texture you're trying to change? Is there a written quotation before anything is cut, mixed or applied?

A consultation worth having ends with you knowing the plan and the number, not finding out either one halfway through the appointment. If a salon won't commit to that in writing, that's worth knowing before you sit down, not after.

Salon pricing moves with more than the treatment name on the door. Hair length changes how much product and time a colour or smoothing service takes, and a longer, first-visit consultation is a different job to a familiar trim.

What matters isn't whether a number is high or low on its own. It's whether the room can explain how it got there, and whether that number is agreed with you before the work starts rather than announced after it's finished.

A star rating tells you very little on its own. The reviews worth reading are the ones that mention something specific: a technician who listened, a quote that matched what was actually charged, or a treatment that grew out the way it was described.

Vague praise is easy to write and easy to fake. A review with a real detail in it is the one actually worth trusting.
